Gavin's Baptism

I can not believe that Gavin is really 8!! I remember when we first had him how we thought the 8 years until he was baptized was such a long time away, boy were we wrong! Time has flown by so quickly and here we are with an 8 year old!! His baptism was a great day! We had a bunch of family and friends there to support Gavin and he was really happy all day! While he was listening to the people give talks and we were singing the songs, he would lean over to me and say "I think I'm going to cry.... out of JOY" it was really sweet to hear his feelings during this time! I really appreciate everyone's support on this special day for Gavin! Here are some pictures of the day!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a Dr's appointment on April 12th, I figured it would be the routine check up and I'd be seeing the dr in 4 weeks as usual! I had Bronson and Paisley with me which always makes for annoying appointments since its so boring for them, and they can't sit still. I went in and I had lost more weight, and wasn't going to the bathroom as I should be, my Dr suggested that I meet with maternal fetal medicine and so I did. I still had Bronson and Paisley with me at that point, which again isn't my ideal situation especially when they were doing the ultrasound to see how the baby was doing etc. So turns out the baby is doing okay but because I have lost so much weight they decided that I needed to be admitted. I called Dallas and thankfully he had already set up his time at work to only work a half of day because it was my birthday. He came and got the kids to take them to my parents and off I went to be admitted. That night I ate two saltine crackers and they came up... so the on call Dr said I had successfully failed and I was off to get a feeding tube :( I was then put at nothing by mouth until that Saturday while they were increasing my feeds through the tube. I finally got to come home Friday night which I was soooo glad that I was able to get out. I am on the feeding tube for 24 hours, which I really don't like, but at least I don't have to worry so much about eating. About a week after I got the tube in, I threw it up, let me just say it was seriously horrible. I went in the next day and got another tube placed.
I have now had the feeding tube for 5 weeks and I'm seriously sooo sick of it. I just wish I could be done with it, and done with the weekly dr's appointments and just a normal pregnant girl. The Dr has said that I will have it until I can eat and drink everything on my own, which seems like an impossibility. If this wasn't enough, more than likely i'll have to deal with the toxemia again, my Dr has mentioned this since the beginning letting me know she doubts I will make it full term but we'll see.
So there is the story of this pregnancy so far... its definitely been my worst pregnancy by far :( But at least there is a wonderful reward at the end!! (which is taking forever ha ha)

The results are in!!!

Yesterday we went to find out what baby #4 would be! I was glad my family could be there to find out as well, I had my Parents, Brittany, Lindsay, Bronson and my kids were all there for the RESULTS!! And ITS A GIRL!!! I asked the guy doing the ultrasound if he was pretty sure that nothing would be "growing" on this little baby... he said 200 % sure!! Hopefully that remains the case when I get the next ultrasound at 20 weeks to make sure everything is going well.
Now the hunt for a cute name begins... I'm having a hard time finding anything I like that hasn't already been used by friends or family, and that also passes Dallas' test of making complete fun of the name so I'll know how they will be teased in school! This should be very interesting!

New Baby!

So I wasn't sure when I was actually due with this baby, and I had called the dr's to set up my first appointment, but my Dr was booked out until March!! The girl put me down for March 8th but said the nurse will call if that is too far out. I knew that given my previous pregnancies that they would be having me come in sooner, and they called last Friday to have me come in yesterday on the 18th! So in we went at 7:45 in the dang morning, and we got to see the little baby on the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. I am 7 weeks and a few days, making my due date September 4th.
My Dr was telling me how I am a high risk for Pre eclampsia/toxemia with this pregnancy and also a high risk for preterm baby. I've also lost 13 lbs since I found out I am pregnant, I've been so sick, just like my last two pregnancies. The Dr gave me prescriptions for 5 nausea medications and also one for these horrible headaches I get when I'm pregnant. She said that if I don't stop feeling sick that she wants me on IV's and if that still doesn't help they can give me this nausea medication they give cancer patients on Chemo. So we'll see how this ends up. She wasn't making it sound like I would make it to my due date at all, so here's hoping this isn't another Bronson pregnancy!!!

Sledding

I took the kids sledding with my brother and his girlfriend. We don't really play in the snow let alone go sledding so I was curious how the kids would react! We actually ended up going 2 days, because the 1st day we got there and it was already getting late and it was freaking cold... so we decided to go on New Years Day and the kids really seemed to love it. Paisley didn't like it too much the 1st day but the 2nd day she was really loving it and didn't want to leave. Gavin really liked and and Bronson... well he didn't want anything to do with it! Most of the pictures I got of him, he was crying... although I did trick him into 1 smile! It was fun overall, I'm just not much of a snow person! :)

New Year New Post!

I feel like I need to go back and mention everything that has happened that I haven't written about, but that would be too overwhelming and I just don't know where too begin. I guess I will just do a recap from last year when I ended with Paisley's 2nd birthday!

December 2009
-Paisley turned 2!
-Christmas- We spent Christmas Eve at my Parents house. All of the family was over there including my Uncle Buddy and Aunt Debbie. We ate dinner, and my Mom read a Christmas story. We then sung Christmas songs, and Aunt Debbie requested that we all sing a song that she sings when we aren't together... the song was Families can be Together Forever. We opened presents and had a great evening. This was the last time that I got to spend with my Aunt Debbie before she passed away in March 2010.

January 2010
-New Years was spent at the Montoya's! We played games and spent time with friends and Family welcoming the new year!
- Bronson turned 1 on the 8th. We had family over to celebrate his birthday! He LOVED his cake and make a huge mess of it! He had his feet and every part of him covered in cake!

February 2010
-Gavin took a trip to Arizona with my parents to go to my cousin Kyles farewell!

March 2010
-Dallas and I celebrated our Anniversary on the 10th.
-March 23rd my Aunt Debbie passed away. This was one of the hardest things I've had to go through. I am certainly happy that she is no longer in any sort of pain, although I still want to be selfish and have her here with me and our family.
-March 27th was her Funeral. I can't begin to tell you how beautiful this was. She had so many friends, there was people clear back to the stage. Everyone loves Aunt Debbie. Before she passed away she had asked me if I would speak at her funeral about her as my Aunt.... I am thankful that I was able to give a small glimpse of how much she meant to all of us!

April 2010
-I turned 27 on the 12th
-On April 15th my brother Bronson returned from his mission in Switzerland. This was such a wonderful bittersweet day. Uncle Buddy, Tyler and Breanna came up to be there when Bronson arrived at the airport. I know Aunt Debbie had to have been there too, only 4 weeks until he was home from when she passed. We're all so proud of Bronson and what an amazing person he has become!!

May 2010
-Gavin turned 7 on the 11th he had a friend birthday party and he had a great time! We also had a family party for him!!

June 2010
-End of School for Gavin!

July 2010
-4th of July at Murray Park :)
-24th of July we camped out for the parade again!

August 2010
-We went to Raspberry days up at Bear Lake. The weather wasn't the best... but we still had a great time!

September 2010
Can't think of anything :(

October 2010
Halloween- Paisley was a Lady Bug, Gavin was a dragon, and Bronson was a Lion (who was scared of himself ha ha)

November 2010
We took the kids to Disneyland for their 1st time (and Dallas') We had an awesome time! We walked around so much that my toenails were (and still bruised) ha ha! The kids had a great time! Paisley got to meet the Princesses and Mulan told Gavin he was a Warrior... he really liked that!

December 2010
-Paisley turned 3 on the 11th. We had a birthday party with family! She got a lot of princess things and had a great day!

-Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma's house. We ate dinner, listened to a story and sang songs. We sang Families Can Be Together Forever as our last song.
-Christmas was spent with our family! We had a great day!

And there you have it! We are now on the 3rd of January, and on Saturday we will be celebrating Bronson's 2nd Birthday! Wow how time flies! Hopefully I will stay up to date on this blog now! We will see!!

Princess Paisley

My little girlie turned 2 today, soo sad! Seriously time flies by so quickly, and I just want all my kids to stay little. Paisley is learning a lot and is as sassy as ever. She brings so much love and laughter into our home. Here is some of the things Paisley is up to!

  • She LOVES the disney princesses, she calls them SISTAS!! ha! TOO cute!
  • She loves the movie Mama Mia, she is obsessed with this movie. She knows all the words and will sing along as we watch it all the time.... really I'm not kidding, we even have to take it with us when we go somewhere so she can watch it in the car!
  • She loves baby dolls. Its fun to watch her be like a little Mommy. She'll get washclothes or blankets and wrap her baby up, she's put diapers on them and she even put them in her bed when she was supposed to be the one going to sleep!!
  • She LOVES her brothers! She is always calling Bronson handsome or honey, and when he cries she'll ask him You okay? Super cute!
  • In the mornings, she will yell for someone to come and get her out of bed. She will start with Mommy or Daddy and if we don't come and get her right away, she'll start screaming DALLAS!
  • She really loves her Grandpa, and because of Grandpa she also really loves fishies!
  • She talks quite a bit, Dallas was doing dishes and she yelled Daddy, he said what and she said You're cute!
  • She is a junk food junky, she could be in the middle of crying and if she sees that you have candy she will be all better.
  • She loves her juice
  • She's starting to use the potty
  • She loves to draw and color on everything.
  • Some of our favorite words/phrases that Paisley uses/says: You kidding me? I pee yu - Eat Food, Go bye bye, Damin (Gavin) Mooie (Movie), I tooit (i tooted), Canny (Candy), my Sistas (Disney Princesses), I like to moo it moo it, we will we will rock you,
When she sings mama mia she sing "Mama Mia here we go again my my how can I a SISTA!
  • Whenever she has an owey, a kiss really does help to make it better... instantly.
  • When she wants something she will come to you with her hands together like a cup, so you'll give it to her.
  • She loves wearing Grandma's bracelets... all 200 of them at once.

She is such a cute little girl, we love her SO much!! I can't wait to see all the new things she will learn this year! Happy Birthday my little Princess!!
