Conversation with Gavin's school... BRILLIANT

So here is the conversation that happened when we took Gavin in to do the "final" registration.

First off I went to pre registration quite a while ago and the school mentioned we would get some info in the mail telling us more on the back to school and registering etc... I recieved NOTHING from the stupid school and while we were at Bear Lake I get a call from them telling me it is the last day for registration.... So I told them we were out of town, they said we just need to come in and fill out some more paperwork. So we went in, and the lady asks if we brought a bunch of stuff that we had already taken for pre registration and they made copies of. I said no they didn't tell us we needed to bring in anything she grabs the sign (that I should have been able to read through the phone... stupid me) and puts it right in front of me which has a list of the same things that I had already taken to pre registration and they had already made copies of... So I have Dallas go home get the stuff we needed then come back of course then the bill he happened to grab had the dreaded, awful last name of Fenstermaker on it ( I swear this name is nothing but problems :) ) she then asks who Dallas Fenstermaker is I give her a brief explanation of why it is different than what is showing on his license but she sits there with the I'm STUPID look on her face and said I've never heard of that before, why would he change his name because you got married, I said because that is what we chose to do. She continues to have the I'm and IDIOT stare on her face... Meanwhile the office is full of people who she is also being equally as retarded to so I tell her the whole story... she still is saying I never heard of this before... I was beyond frustrated at this point... too bad if she doesn't know that this is a possibility.. right??? So on to my next quest to see if this stupid lady can understand english. I ask about the bus stop, I say I
I know where it is, its at the end of my street this is where I will drop him off.. but how
do the kids know how to get to their classes... her answer The Teachers put them on the bus.
I look at Dallas with a total look of confusement on my face and we try again
I say so after I put him on the bus to go to school how is he going to know how to get to his class? Her response.... The teachers will put him on the bus. I was beginning to think I was being punked or something because she was so pathetic. So I try once more. I say
So when I take my son to the bus stop for him to ride the bus to school...once the bus gets to the school and the kids are to get off the bus how are they going to know where their classroom is or wherever they are supposed to go??? DING DING DING She gets it... her response.. the teachers will help them or the aides. So on to my next question... Is the bus stop the same one that I pick him up and drop him off at... Her answer We dont' know.. there is only one bus that will drop the kids off and pick them up. So you get the routine... we ask this a couple different times a couple different ways...and we get the same answer. Finally i say I don't care what the dang bus # is... am I going to be picking him up and dropping him off at the same location each day??? DING DING DING she gets it again!! She's learning how to answer a simple question!! Good thing I came in to teach her this.

Okay so then I got the heck out of there before I said something I shouldn't .... maybe like are you a freaking idiot lady... or is today your last day because it should be...

Back to School Night for Gavin

Yesterday was quite the day. Dallas and I both I think had the 24 hour stomach flu HORRIBLE I must say. Although I felt sorry for Dallas since he had to be at work while he was throwing up all day long too. He told me he now feels bad that I have to go through that so often (finally a little sympathy from the guy who has only thrown up 3 times since I've known him) ha ha!! Anyways yesterday at 6:30 was Gavin's back to school night, I was feeling horrible but I certainly didn't want to miss taking him there to meet his teacher and see if he was morning or afternoon. So I took a few more of my nausea medication just so I could possibly make it there. So we get there and Gavin is in AM!! I was actually hoping for this since it will get him in the habit of getting up early and hopefully going to bed early, and it'll be easier for me to get him and pick him up at the bus stop during the morning/afternoon. There are 2 kids in his class that Gavin knows, I hope that will be a good thing for him. Then we found out that he will have a substitute teacher for the first few weeks since they are short a teacher because of how many kids there are.... I don't so much like this idea... I haven't had really good impressions from this school yet either... I will have to share my registration story in another blog.... anyways so it seems everything is last minute here and I don't know about that. The kids will have homework every day, Gavin doesn't like that idea!~ and they mentioned the field trip to the zoo in the spring and Grandparents day and birthday's etc. that made Gavin a little more happy! I was glad when it was over, because I wasn't feeling great! here are a few pictures nothing too exciting!!

Going Private???

Has anyone thought about going private with their blogs? I realize that you are only giving out your info to the people that you would like to view your blog but I know others can get into it and also if you were just to google your names it would pop up as well... I've kinda thought about it but wanted to see what others think about it too!!

Is today Monday??? Or is today just my

Terrible horrible no good very bad day!?! So today started off with me doing my normal morning activity it seems. I woke up to tell Dallas goodbye and then I got to say my hello's to the toilet while I emptied everything that I guess shouldn't have been in my stomach... can I just say.. I am so sick of throwing up!!!!! I've been pretty good about not throwing up, just feeling super sick although I have had a couple of good days.. thank goodness. Anyways after that fun event, Paisley decided that she needed to wake up at 6am today as well. So I got her up, changed her and made her a bottle. She hasn't been feeling good the last couple of nights either, we're thinking she has another ear infection.. lovely. So she got done with her bottle and was playing for a second, I was sitting on the couch and she rolled over to me and pulled herself up and I picked her up to sit next to me. She was sitting for about 1 minute and started choking on the air and ta da!! She pukes up her whole entire bottle on my couch! This is mess #1. Next my 2 daycare kids get to my house around 7:30 am today and they brought chocolate milkshakes for them and Gavin. Gavin spills his whole entire huge cup of chocolate milkshake on the carpet... Mess #2. Then the daycare boy tries to get his own drink, spills the whole thing on the carpet... Mess #3. The the daycare girl spills the rest of her chocolate milkshake on the carpet... Mess #4. By now it is about 10:15. So the messes cease for a little bit, however the boys not listening has just begun.... Gavin and the daycare boy start jumping on the couch, then the daycare boy climbs up the back of the couch and stands on the railing. They go in time out for a couple minutes. Then by now Paisley is asleep.. thank goodness. The boys start throwing toys around so I ask them to stop the boys tell me they are not going to stop, this is time out #2. I have to separate them since they continue to play if not. I am going between the up and downstairs checking on them and I go into where the daycare boy is and he is pulling everything out of my purse and has taken a couple checks out and is playing with my camera. TIME OUT EXTENDED. Gavin is playing and tells me he doesn't have to listen to me.. TIME OUT EXTENDED. Next its lunch time. The drinks are spilled mess #5. I made Mac n Cheese then I see that the whole bowl of mac n cheese for the daycare girl is now on the carpet mess #6. Now its quiet time. ARE WE FOR REAL... is this how the rest of the day is going to turn out... because HOLY COW... Thankfully I have a carpet shampooer... UGH... Well... there's my post for the most exciting eventful beginning of my day... lets just hope it gets better.

Dr Appointment

I went for my Dr's appointment today. I've still been losing weight so she is going to be watching that. I'm supposed to try and at least drink calories if I can't eat them. I will go in for the ultrasound in 2-4 weeks. I will be able to find out what I am having then, I've decided I should probably find out since I won't be thrilled about one kind ;) Either way I'm hoping that the baby is just healthy. I know the typical answer that any pregnant mother gives, but really I've seen so many things so terribly wrong with pregnancies or a baby that has so many problems when I've just lucked out and had healthy babies and the only thing I've had to be worried about is if I am making another BOY!! So... we'll see... I think I'll schedule it around the 9th of February. I have also been having chest pains for the last 2 weeks or so, so they want to get a halter monitor for 24 hours to record how my heart is doing. I was supposed to get it today but I ran out of time!!! So I will see when I can get that set up. Other than that the babies heart rate was good and the baby was moving around quite a bit. I've been able to feel the baby for a couple weeks now, so that's been fun!!

16 Weeks

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop
I have my Dr's appointment tomorrow morning so I will update everyone with what the Dr says tomorrow!!!

Sleeping Cinderella

On Saturday we went to a friends wedding, we got home kinda late and Dallas brought Paisley upstairs and she was sleeping on him. They were so cute I took a few pictures. We had to get her in her pj's after she was sound asleep and that caused her to wake right up! Her and Gavin played for a while and I got pictures of that too....cute!!

My niece and earings and body fat????

Today I went with my Sister in Law and my niece to get my niece's ears pierced! She was super brave and said she was excited to go the whole way there. I was suprised she was so willing to just sit on the seat and wait for the dreaded moment. They were cleaning her ears and then putting the dots on and I look over at my Sister in Law and her eyes are about to pop out of her head!! ha ha! I told her to stop or she is going to make my niece scared! ha ha! Then it was time to get her ears pierced, and then she cried for just a minute and then was done!! So she finally has pierced ears! And she got pink hearts for her earings!! Too cute!! I think I'm glad I got Paisley's done now because I don't know that any other kid would just sit there waiting for the dreaded moment!!
We spent the rest of the day at my Brother and Sister in law's house. We had a nice time! Before we left Dallas and his brother measured their body fat ha ha ha WARNING VIEWER DISCRESTION IS ADVISED ha ha!! I didn't think to grab my camera during his brothers whole measuring but I got Dallas.... I just know he loved it though! ha ha!! Here are the pictures from our adventures today!!!

Do they have this toy in Kindergarten????

Today I walked downstairs and this is what I found..... Gavin in Paisley's toy.... I wonder if they have this in Kindergarten???

Gavin finally gave up the tooth!!!!

Finally Gavin decided he wanted money instead of holding onto his tooth since he lost it!! So last night we took him in his room had him put his tooth under his pillow and then told him to lay down and go to sleep quickly so the tooth fairy could come, well... he didn't like that idea. He got scared. So we said a prayer so he wouldn't be scared of the tooth fairy... and I even gave him a demonstration of how the tooth fairy gets his tooth and leaves money so he knew that he knew it wouldn't scare him....Dallas walked him back to him room to tuck him in and instead Gavin came back in my room on the verge of tears handing me back him tooth. So I decided that we would lay in his room with him so he wouldn't be afraid of the dang tooth fairy. So Gavin and I layed in his bed, Dallas got the floor and we layed there until Gavin fell asleep. Finally he did and this morning he came in the room too dang early and said he was scared, I didn't want to deal with it and Darth Vader was clueless to Gavin being in the room so I just let him climb into bed with us. Dallas had to get up for work and Gavin woke up again and wanted to go and see if the tooth fairy came! Sure enough the tooth fairy did come and he got two golden dollars!! He was sure happy. He said he isn't scared of the tooth fairy anymore... we'll see... maybe it'll keep him from knocking his other teeth loose....

In the Jungle the mighty Jungle......

So our yard has sucked for the longest time. Our sprinklers broke last year and we never got around to fixing it so the good ol' yard went down the toilet. Well this year my sisters friend said he would be able to give us any left over sod that wasn't able to be sold before the weekend. Well we got the first batch of it a couple of months ago and we had tilled the rest of the yard up hoping to keep getting some sod on the weekends. Well they didn't have any left over sod for quite a while. Then on Monday around 3:30 ish I got a text from my sisters friend that said he has left over sod!! YAY!! I was thinking it was going to be about the say amount as last time... but no, he had enough for the rest of the backyard!!! Finally we were going to have a yard.... Now here is the problem.... we've been watering the yard like crazy so that the sod would keep growing, this in turn put a turbo growth on our "garden" as Gavin calls it. So we had a LOT of work ahead of us! Thankfully Dallas' brother Earle came over to help after he got off work and then Brittany and Mo came over after Brittany got off work to help (THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!!) Before they came over, we started to re till the backyard and to start raking up the weeds and try to make it as level as possible. Earle came over and helped with the raking and I'm sure wanted to kill us by the time he left! The sod finally got there around 8:30 and then they all started laying the sod, it didn't get done until around 10:30. Everyone was so tired and sore. So now we finally have a backyard that we can actually do something in!!! We still need to finish tilling about a foot around the fence where we are going to put flowers in!! I'm excited to get it all done!! Here are some before and after pictures!!!

BEFORE (obviously)

AFTER

Here are pictures of the kids playing!!
