Elder Bronson Dane Schmidt

Yesterday we took my brother Bronson to the MTC. It was a bitter sweet day. Bronson recieved his mission call back in December and has been called to serve in the Geneva Switzerland mission. I kept telling him to delay turning in his papers so that he would be able to see my little Paisley before he left on his mission. Not only did he get to see her but he got to spend 4 months with her. I am very thankful for that, I know its selfish but hey!! Four months later there we were dropping him off and saying our goodbyes. He is such a great guy and will come back an even better one!! Bronson will be in the MTC until June, he will be learning the French language. I'll keep the updates coming on him when I recieve any!! Here are some of the pictures from yesterday.

My bloggin buddy is back! I thought I'd lost ya! It's hard to say goodbye to family members out on missions but it is very rewarding at the same time. I hope all goes well with him and he enjoys the MTC.
PS-Paisley is so cute! she is getting so big, I can't believe it!

was it my imagination or was Elder Schmidt the handsomest, coolest, most missionary like newby in the room at the MTC? Is it my imagination that he will make a wonderful missionary in the Geneva Switzerland mission. Heavens no! He was the handsomest and he will make a great missionary because he has a kind and gentle heart, and a love for people and the gospel... That is a great combination to take into the missionfield.. He will change the paths of many who will listen to him, and thousands who will follow long after he is gone. In this world where misery is depicted and illustrated every day, he will bring good news and a light to the part of the vineyard where he will labor. These will definately be the best two years of his life, and he will relive them and recall them for the rest of his life. He will learn the language well, as tho he were a native if we all pray for that to become a reality every day, and I will do that. As a convert from Scotland, I am thrilled that Elder Schmidt has accepted the call and I can't think of a finer candidate to represent the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ... He will do us and the church proud, I know because he has always done us proud. He's my grandson. Jessica price.
