Catch up for Gavin's Birthday/Party

Happy 5th Birthday Gavin!!!!

So.. I'm a total slacker, I haven't updated this with much of anything... This is my attempt to catch everyone up on what's been going on in the Schmidt home!

Gavin's birthday was May 11th, which also was Mother's Day. So since this was MY day :) we didn't have his party this day (Just kidding) we still tried to make this day happy for him so we had bought a window chalk pen for cars and we wrote on all the windows something about his birthday, On the back we wrote Honk its Gavin's Birthday, on his window we wrote Gavin sits here etc... (i Just have the one picture I'll get the rest from my Mom and put them on here, it was pretty fun) anyways Gavin loved it. He made us turn off the radio and roll the windows down a little so he could "hear his honks." A lot of people actually honked and waved at him (Dallas was enjoying it a little too much too since he was waving at everyone that drove by us... I'm thinking we might just have to do something similar for his birthday). So that was that day.

The next day we took Gavin to the zoo. He had a couple of his friends go with him, we had so much fun!! We got to ride the train this time so he was really happy. Grandma, Brittany and Lindsay also came to enjoy the adventures of the zoo...

We also went to the zoo again on the 16th with Gavin's cousins which was a lot of fun too!!

May 17th we had Gavin's birthday party, it was the "Transformers" theme. We had a pinata and my friend Janelle made an awesome cake for him! He got a lot of new toys (not like he is hurting for them) and we had a great day!
