Because I have a big brother I'll always have a friend

I have to take a minute and just say how extremely cute Gavin is with his sister. He has just been so sweet to her (minus the one smack to the head) he will wake up and come in just to tell his sister Goodmorning. He rarely calls her by her name instead it is replaced by sweetheart or Sister Bear, or Beautiful. Its so cute to watch him with her, sometimes when she cries he'll get to her and say its okay, your Big Brother is here. Anyways I just thought I'd share this, its just too cute!

KINDERGARTEN?????

Well if you can believe it I am old enough to be registering my kid for Kindergarten... Dallas maybe but not ME!! I can't believe it! I called Gavin's school to see if I could get the info sent to me and instead of hearing that they would they told me registration is on Friday the 14th at 2:15pm. I just can't believe it. I actually have kinda mixed feelings about it, I know it'll be good for him and a GREAT break for me, but I am never really away from him that often. I told him that he has to get 5 shots before going to school (OUCH) he wasn't too happy about that but I'm sure he'll get over it, he's so excited about going! I will definately have to write about the whole registration experience!

Skittle Bowling

Dallas and I went on a double date with our friend Nick and my cousin Breanna. We had so much fun. Dallas' Mom took Gavin so we just had Paisley. We ate at Cafe Rio which was pretty good and then went bowling. Nick came up with the idea to do Skittle bowling it was a lot of fun! What you do is get a bag of skittles (a 41 oz bag isn't necessary but Nick needed a snack for Church the next day ha ha) anyways before you start to bowl you decide a way you have to bowl with each color. For example this is what we did... Red meant you had to roll the ball with your foot, Green meant you had to bowl standing on one foot, Yellow was left handed, Orange was backwards between your legs and then Purple was regular. The bowling alley we went to had cosmic bowling while we were there too and had red laser beams going everywhere. Nick made one of them hit right on his nose he looked like Rudolph so we all did, even Paisley. Then he had it on his finger like ET pretty funny.... needless to say we had a blast!!

Aunt Mindy and Paisley

Mindy came over the other day and I had her get Paisley dressed! She had a good time.. at least I think she did!! Except for when she asked Paisley to "give me your leg" she did pretty good! ha ha!!

Echo's Baptism

Our niece Echo was baptized as a new member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on her birthday March 1st. We are so proud of her! This was the first baptism that Gavin has been too he thought it was pretty neat. She is a great example for Gavin.

Gavin and the Guitar

The other night we told Gavin to go and get his pajama's on. He was taking quite a while and Dallas went up to check on him and he was sitting on his bed "playing" his guitar singing "Had a bad day, take it down, sing a song, turn it around." Too cute! He is such a cute boy! Full of energy and sass but still cute!

Sleepy time with Paisley

I took a couple of picture of Paisley and Dallas today. They are just too cute! I'm so thankful for both of them! Paisley is such a pill to get to sleep so we have to dance around with her, or pat her constantly, or bounce her or do some sort of movement to get her to sleep, thankfully Dallas doesn't mind doing this although I think we fall asleep quicker than her while doing it! We went

over to my parents again tonight... I taught Bronson the "technique" of getting her to sleep and after so long of rocking and patting in sync he was dozing off too! Quite funny, although once you stop and she's not ready for you to she'll wake right up and the process begins again!

New Camera

Me and the Kids

Dallas bought me a new camera today! It is supposed to be for Mother's Day and my birthday but my old camera took one too many falls and is being held together by tape! I am so happy with the new camera! I played around with it for a little while today and took a few pictures! We didn't do a whole lot today, we did go over to my parents house again, their going on a cruise next Tuesday, who know what we'll do every night when they are gone!! :)

Bouncer Chair

We put Paisley in her bouncer and she seemed to like it today, she reached up and hit the toys a couple of times! She's so smart! Ha ha ha!! I also took a couple pictures of Dallas and her together cute!

Blanket from Aunt Debbie & Uncle Buddy

Blankie Baby! Thank you Aunt Debbie, Uncle Buddy, Bree and Elder Benson :) for this special blanket for Paisley! They had this embroidered for her with her name and her birthday and also had I am a child of God written on it. Its so cute and so soft!!

Nothing new or exciting to report so I thought I'd put up a couple pictures of the smiling princess!! She is full of them! Gavin absolutely loves his little sister! He calls her sweetheart or Sister Bear (I told my mom that my kids look like the Bearenstien Bears from the side... Really they do!!) Its cute to watch him with her!
