Our Trip to Arizona

The kids and I went to Arizona with my Parents and my sister Lindsay this past week. We left on Wednesday and drove to Vegas. We stayed at Planet Hollywood! The rooms were awesome, the hotel was so nice!! Gavin picked out which bed he wanted and he was king of the bed and the TV. Each room had its own theme, ours was for Good Will Hunting and it had memorabilia from the movie, like the hoodie and the pants and pictures from the movie. My parents room was from Romeo and Julliet!
We got to Vegas around 5 in the morning so our check out time wasn't until 1:00 pm, thank goodness because we needed the sleep. Anyways we got up the next morning and got ready. My Parents took us to the Rio for the ultimate buffet... I could not believe how many people ate out for Thanksgiving. We were standing in the front of the line waiting for a table for so long. Paisley had her Happy Thanksgiving bib on and was not happy about the wait at all!! We finally got a table and off to eating we went!! There was so much food and so many desserts it was great!

Afterwards we were off for the rest of the trip to Arizona. We got to Arizona around 11:30pm or so and we went straight to bed. We got up and made our way over to the Bensons to see Tyler! He just got off of his mission on the 19th, so it was sure great to see him. He hadn't met Paisley before and when he finally got home she was asleep on his bed, so he made sure to go in there and kiss her a bunch!! We sure had a lot of fun visiting with the Benson's and also the Schmidt family. On Saturday we went to the Mesa Temple lights, its different from Salt Lake but still very pretty. This was the 1st time that I had been to the temple lights there. It was kinda funny to walk around and see everyone wearing winter clothes and jackets like it was cold there... meanwhile we're walking around thinking it was nice weather!! Sunday Tyler spoke in church. He gave a really great talk and it was so nice to just listen to him speak! Monday morning we headed back to Salt Lake! We got home around 10:00pm and boy was I glad to not have to be in the car anymore!! We had such a great time. Thank you Mom and Dad for everthing!! And thank you Lindsay for letting us drive along in your car... and listening to Paisley have a minor breakdown!! :)
